How much is the deposit?

A reservation deposit of $400 (which will be subtracted from the $1350.00 rental fee) is required to reserve your weekend. When we receive your check for $400 along with the signed contract, your space will be locked in. The remainder of the rental payment ($950.00), along with a refundable security deposit of $500, is due 14 days prior to check in. (The $500 security deposit will be returned to you within 14 days of departure if no damages have occurred.)

What if I need to cancel or change dates?

If you need to change your reservation, we will make every effort to accommodate any changes based on availability. If you need to cancel your reservation, the following policy applies:

60 days or more, full refund of $400 deposit

59 days - 31 days 50% refund of $400 deposit

30 days or less, no refund of deposit

What time is check in and check out?

Check in is 10 a.m. Check out is 4 p.m. A weekend can be Thursday thru Sunday or Friday thru Monday. Extra nights are available on either end for $300 per night. If you want to only rent for 2 nights, the rate would be $495 per night.

How many people can you accommodate?

The entire house is set up to accommodate 8 people. We have 8 separate beds, and we have 8 scrapbook tables and chairs. The dining room table seats 8 and all of the kitchenware is for 8 people. Comfortable seating on the porch and deck are available for 8 people. Off street parking (in the driveway) will fit 8 cars.

What is your policy for pets and smoking?

It is a smoke free and pet free home. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Do I need to bring linens or towels?

No. Linens for all of the beds are provided along with one pillow and extra blankets in each room. A bath towel, hand towel, and washcloth are provided for each guest. There is also a washer and dryer in the basement. One hair dryer is available in each of the 3 bathrooms to use. A reasonable number of trash bags and a limited supply of paper products are provided (paper towels and toilet paper)along with dish towels, dish soap and dishwasher tabs.

What form of payment do you accept?

We accept personal checks or Bank Checks.

What do I need to do to get security deposit back?

It’s easy. Please leave things as you found them. If you move tables or furniture for some reason, put it back in original place when you leave. Strip the beds that you have slept in and leave sheets on the floor in that bedroom. Please leave all used towels on the floor in the bathrooms. Please be considerate and treat the house like it was your own. Use paper and cover tables when crafting with things that could damage surfaces. We understand that accidents happen and an occasional dish or glass is broken. Please notify us of any issues that require attention.

How do I Book a Weekend?

To make a reservation, click on Book a Weekend. This will take you to the reservation page where we have a form for you to fill out. Fill out the form and submit it. This will send an email to Chillingatthebay@gmail.com. We will email you a contract. After you print out the contract, you will sign and return it with the deposit to the address we will provide.
